WORSHIP

Our Worship Philosophy at Peninsula Bible Fellowship

In worship, we seek to honor God with our whole lives. We like to remind people that worship is not just "singing songs on Sunday". When we gather on Sunday, our services emphasize Jesus at the center of our worship, His finished work on the cross, and the building of the Kingdom of God.

PBF loves variety in its music. Although typically contemporary, we value the modern expression of praise as well as deep theology of hymns of old. Songs are meant to teach and encourage, providing a chance for the truth of God's word to be on the lips of God's people. Peninsula Bible Fellowship is a church that loves to sing.

Our regular services follow the Revelation – Response model, where God reveals Himself to us through the preaching and reading of His Word, and we respond through worship and song.

Our worship team attends regular training to develop and grow, including attendance at the Christian Musicians Summit. We also incorporate the youth in our regular worship services as well, providing them mentoring and regular opportunities for involvement.

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month. All believers in Christ are welcome.
