Visiting for the first time?

Peninsula Bible Fellowship is located between Bremerton and Silverdale, an area surrounded by military bases. PBF is accustomed to new faces, and to helping new attenders get connected and settle into community. Here are a few things that might help you before attending your first service:

You Are Welcome

You don't have to dress up or know any secret handshakes. When you arrive at PBF, you'll find people from all walks of life, young and old, teachers, engineers, and teenagers... who are becoming family to one another around the common goal of seeking to know Jesus and make Him known. Hospitality is important to this family, so enjoy a good cup of coffee and grab (an amazing) donut, and let someone know this is your first visit. The Welcome Desk is a great place to begin -- located just inside the north entrance.

WORSHIP

Worship includes a sermon, scripture, and musical response to God’s Word. Communion is offered the first Sunday of the month, and all those who believe in Christ are welcome to partake. The people of Peninsula Bible Fellowship love to sing, and you are welcome to join, even if you would never be chosen on one of those TV competitions. (The Psalms repeatedly tell us to "Make a joyful noise to God," right?) You may find people raising their hands, clapping to the music, or affirming the spoken word with an "Amen!" And you may also experience times of peaceful prayer, and contemplation. After services, please stay to chat and sample some doughnuts and coffee.

CHILDREN

Preschool through fifth graders have classes offered at 9:15 and 10:40 AM. After signing in at the Child Check-in stations prior to service, parents can escort their kids to their classrooms. To find the right room, check at the welcome desk, or look for the PBF Kids signs located throughout the facility. Learn more about Children's Ministry.

If your child has special needs or you have a specific concern, we welcome you to contact Steve Mercer, the Associate Pastor of Children and Families before attending, to ensure we can best accommodate your needs.

TEENS

Middle school and high school students are welcome to participate in the youth program, at 9:15 AM which includes an extended teaching time and sharing in the Fireside Room (for MS) and the Log Cabin (for HS). Check out the Youth Ministry page to learn more about PBF Youth. If you need help finding a room on Sunday, or have additional questions, you can always visit the Welcome Desk in the Foyer, near the coffee.

SPECIAL NEEDS

The building is handicapped accessible through the western doors closest to the parking lot entrance and handicapped-accessible restroom facilities are located on the main floor. Service dogs are permitted inside the building. Smoking is not permitted. The Log Cabin is also handicapped accessible.

PARKING

Visitors are encouraged to park on the east side of the building near the main entrance. Follow the signs to "visitor parking." That entrance allows easiest access to the Welcome Desk filled with information to get you familiar and connected to others at Peninsula Bible Fellowship.
