Brent has served as Lead Pastor of Peninsula Bible Fellowship since 2011. He is married to Michelle and he is Jack and Kate’s Dad.
A native Californian, Brent graduated from Bethany College of the Assemblies of God (Scotts Valley, CA) with a BA in Church Leadership. He also studied at George Fox Evangelical Seminary (Portland, OR) graduating with a Master of Divinity degree.
Brent has served some great West Coast churches including Menlo Park Presbyterian Church and Lake Grove Presbyterian Church in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He’s been involved in the worship, community and preaching lives of the churches he’s served.
He is passionate about Jesus, his family, PBF, great preaching, great coffee, great movies, great books and great food. He sometimes struggles with correctly ordering his passions. He loves to sit and gawk at the Olympic Range as well as listen to the stories over a cup of coffee of how God has touched people’s lives. He strives to use his creativity to inspire and excite seekers and followers of Jesus Christ to bring love to an indifferent world.
Jeff and his wife, Gloria are blessed with three children (Derris, Jettson, and Grace), two daughters in law, five grandchildren, and one golden doodle.
Born into a pastor’s home in California, Jeff spent his school-age years in Oregon, and has served in various churches in the Puget Sound area since 1987.

His educational background includes Northwest University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and finishing up with a Doctor of Ministry from Bakke Graduate University.
Jeff and his family have been Kitsap residents since 2001. Jeff enjoys a game of basketball at the Y, time walking a trail, and spending time with family and friends.
David is a 6-year Air Force veteran who met his lovely bride, Megan, in 2009 while he was stationed in New Mexico. Because Megan is from Poulsbo, the circumstances involving their meeting and marriage 6 months later make for a good story. David grew up as the son of an Army Chaplain and believed on Jesus at the ripe old age of 14, which is part of the reason he feels so strongly about ministering to young people. He enjoys, very much, the study of the Word of God and his primary passions are the building of the church and the proclamation of the Gospel. David also enjoys fine carpentry and the reading of non-fiction from authors such as: John Piper, A.W Tozer, C.S Lewis, Francis Chan, and many others. Given the opportunity, he will also tell you that you must read Ted Dekker books if you enjoy reading fiction in any way, shape, or form.
Tracie and her husband, Terry, are full-time musicians performing frequently all around the NW. They run “Marsh Music Studio," a music school in Poulsbo, and homeschool their 2 children, Julian and Coral. Tracie has a music performance degree and 13 years worship leading experience having been on staff at 3 different churches as worship director. Tracie and Terry love PBF and look forward to doing ministry with an amazing team to glorify Jesus in Kitsap through music.
Steve is husband to Linda and dad to Zach and Levi. Mercer team favorites include: playing and watching sports, mountain biking, taking care of dogs, skiing/snowboarding, and Chipotle. Steve leads the PBF Kids ministry and his heart is to see kids’ identity rooted in the love of Jesus, and families growing in discipleship together. Steve graduated from Whitworth University and was on staff for several years at Menlo Church in CA and Crossroads Church in Cincinnati. Steve is currently developing his pour over coffee skills.
Michelle and her husband Dan met in 11th grade at King’s West High School and were married once they finished college in 2000. They love traveling, playing games, and laughing a LOT with their 2 teenage daughters & little 3-year-old son. Michelle is excited to combine her love of Jesus with her love of detailed planning in order to serve the women of PBF! She is passionate about building relationships & finding avenues to support each other through connection.
Grace was born and raised in Kitsap and traveled with PBF's youth group on her first mission trip experience in East LA in the 90's. Graduating from Olympic HS and Multnomah Bible College, she feels completely privileged to have served over the past 20 years as a missionary (Art & Yearbook) teacher in S. Korea, and on the staff of two churches --combining her love of graphic design and Christian ministry.
Grace and Cephas married in 2004 and welcomed their son, CJ, in 2008. Moving back to Kitsap in 2018, she's happy to have found a church home at Peninsula Bible.

As a member of a Christian military family, Hannah grew up in several different churches (including PBF from 2010-2012), worship teams, and youth groups. She served as her youth group's worship coordinator her senior year of high school, and while studying music at WSU Pullman she served as a student leader for her campus ministry. She graduated with a degree in music and english and is now a music teacher in Kitsap County.
Hannah is passionate about serving and investing in youth, and loves getting to help them develop the gifts God has given them. In her free time she enjoys exploring Washington with her family, and watching movies with her cat Ducky.
Janet joined the PBF family in 1993 and has held many titles during her time here - Greeter, Sunday morning kindergarten teacher, Resource Closet organizer, MOPS Creative Director, Caregiver for Nursery, MOPPETS three-year-old lead, and last but not least, Nursery Coordinator since 1997. Janet has enjoyed working with infants and toddlers; making sure they have good quality caregivers serving their every need during Sunday services and other church events. Creating a safe and secure space for families of little ones is a priority and a privilege.

In a time long ago, in a land far from Kitsap, Michelle spent thirteen years serving in youth ministry. First, as the Director of Junior High Ministries, in her home town of Hesperia, California (looks a lot like Joshua Tree National Park) where she grew up. Then she was the Director of High School Ministries in Menlo Park, California (home of Apple) at the church where she and Brent met and where married. She’s always had a passion for ministry and bringing the love of Jesus to kids in fun and engaging ways. She’s probably eaten more pizza in her life than any other food since it's a go to favorite for youth ministry events. Luckily she loves pizza and would list Ken’s Artisan Pizza in Portland, Oregon as the best pizza in the world!
Since her days of youth ministry, Michelle and Brent have moved nine times, always moving further north till they landed in Bremerton where Michelle has been a part of PBF for more than a decade and has spent time volunteering in various capacities including serving in early childhood, PBF kids activities, and decor for church special events.
Michelle loves being a Mom to Jack and Kate and spending time together as a family exploring new places, finding yummy eats and treats, and walking various trails all over the Kitsap Peninsula and beyond.
For Michelle being a part of the PBF Kids ministry team is truly a joy and a blessing. She loves engaging with families and kids on Sunday mornings and connecting volunteers with ways they can serve and be a part of what God is doing in the lives of kids. You can usually find Michelle on a Sunday morning out at the check-in desk or wandering the halls of PBF Kids wearing something orange, be sure to say hello she’d love to meet you!

Arielle enjoys kayaking, running, soccer games, singing, hiking, fishing, basketball, and pretty much any other sport you can think of.
